Straight Out of Dr. Who?
This is from a poster at a movie theater from the Motion Picture Association of America about using, or not using in this case, recording devices in theaters. It made me think of a creepy character that could be in Dr. Who. For it's own survival it would extract all of the host's memories and leave behind a zombie-like version of each human that it "fed" on.

Poem Collage
This is another ancient work of mine from 2002. It is hanging in my pastor's office. It took me an entire weekend to create this. I spent a day just cutting pictures and phrases out of magazines and another day assembling the pics and putting the poem together.
Hip Hope
STOP
Reality check
Are you covered?
This is your life
Why wait?
Get serious!
Take the right turn!
Make some noise
Acquire the fire
Come face to face with
The God of wonders
Feel-good
Think along different lines.
Get relational
Only call on Jesus
Totally radical!
Unshakable lifestyle
Surprised by joy
Free to fly
Do you want to go deeper?
The heartbeat of worship has never been stronger
Enter in.
All the pieces come together
LOUD and CLEAR
Dreams really do come true

Collage + Poem
This is one of my favorite creations from over the years. It was before I was into photography and when I still wrote poems fairly regularly... The poem and the picture came about simultaneously. I couldn't have created one without the other.
Wailing Wall
Sitting on a tall brick wall
Brain waves stall.
Mixed up emotions,
Head in the clouds,
The music in my mind
Is coming out LOUD!!
Can't see what's ahead,
I've forgotten what has been.
Just living in the moment,
Trusting God,
My one true friend.
Sitting on a tall brick wall
Brain waves stall.
Mixed up emotions,
Head in the clouds,
The music in my mind
Is coming out LOUD!!
Can't see what's ahead,
I've forgotten what has been.
Just living in the moment,
Trusting God,
My one true friend.
