The Rainbow

May the glory of the LORD endure forever; may the LORD rejoice in his works- he who looks at the earth, and it trembles, who touches the mountains, and they smoke.

I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the LORD.

-- Psalm 104:31-34 (NIV)

There was a thunderstorm happening outside while we were worshiping tonight during my home group. One of the songs seemed like a prophetic word for the evening. "Revelation Song" by Gateway Worship says, "Clothed in rainbows of living color, flashes of lightening, rolls of thunder. Blessing and honor, strength and power be to You the only wise King." The thunder and lightening seemed to sync with our singing despite my efforts to leave room to just listen to the guitars and enjoy the light and sound show outside. It was like the Lord wanted to add emphasis to the words we were offering up to Him. When we finished our time of worship with a prayer there was a loud boom of thunder as if God was agreeing with the prayers we had just spoken. When we looked outside there was a rainbow stretched all the way across the sky. It seemed like God was saying, "Well done, good and faithful servant[s]! ...Come and share your master's happiness!" -- Matthew 25:21 (NIV)

Thank you, Lord, for all of the blessings that You lavish on us! Help us to lift up our praises to You everyday without ceasing!!!
