This little guy greeted me when I got home from work today. He appeared to be injured. His rear leg, on the right, was missing and it appears that the lower portion of his left leg may be missing too. Maybe he made a narrow escape from a hungry bird?! He didn't seem in a hurry to move, or maybe he couldn't move due to missing limbs, though he was watching me closely as I photographed him from several different angles, even at super macro range.
